Good friend of the club Graham (from Shannons Insurance) is entered in the Treadmill Challenge raising funds and awareness for Suicide Prevention Australia. We would also like to encourage club members to make a personal donation to Graham's Treadmill Challenge. Members of other car clubs are welcome to our event.
Steve and Debbie Butt received the award for Club Person(s) of the year for their great work behind the scenes. The club has helped out with 0 towards the cause. Our club BBQ trailer will be at the track so a sausage sizzle will be available for a reasonable outlay.
This year they used a Chicago Shootout style instead of eliminations. Not entirely sure how they chose who went into the finals but it means everyone got 3 runs instead of potentially just one or two if you were eliminated early.
