"We play games, I bring guests, it's absolute comedy," the conceptual artist said.
Emerson created the truck in 2014 as a "nonjudgemental place where you can exercise your personal and sexual freedoms." In theory, the truck would serve as a safe space to engage in private acts, publicly.

The current iteration of the show stars Emerson as a pagan matchmaker who employs sexual energy, harvested by the truck, to heal the world.After that, the truck travelled to the Mission, where it was met by the brass band, Mission Delirium.The band's appearance was organized by Andy Kuntz, a friend of Spy Emerson and the provider of the truck.When local and national media outlets got word of Emerson's experiment, the myth overtook the motor vehicle. Today, after weathering its jaunt with national fame, the Hook-Up Truck is back.The truck, designed for romps of a sexual nature, became a romp for reporters.
